| OUR MISSION The mission of Nose to the Ground to Help Hounds is:
- To support our community-based shelters in caring for and adopting out hounds and hound mixes
- To prepare people to adopt these breeds/mixes
- To support adopters of these dogs with our online resources
GOALS - To assist as many hounds and hound mixes as possible to find homes
- To educate potential adopters about these breeds/mixes before adopting
- To support adopters of these breeds/mixes to ensure a successful relationship
STRATEGY In order to attain these goals Nose to the Ground to Help Hounds will: - Increase exposure for and promote Wisconsin and Northern Illinois shelter hounds and mixes—including senior and special needs dogs—that are available for adoption, via our website and social networking sites.
- Provide potential adopters with a site to view a wide range of hounds and mixes available for adoption throughout Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.
- Provide educational resources on our website for shelters, potential adopters and adopters on topics pertinent to hounds and mixes.
